Easter Weekend

Easter weekend was so beautiful!  Of course why shouldn't it be?  But really, the weather here has been off and on, some days are warm and the next rainy and cold.  I guess we are actually experiencing a bit of Spring.  Soooo, not used to that!  

Saturday turned out to be the best day for the Easter egg hunt, it was warm and sunny.  The kids gathered eggs in Uncle Doug and Aunt Emily's backyard.  Ben was just so happy to be outside, he wasn't too interested in the eggs..until he realized what was inside!

And Elizabeth loved it like any other excited little girl. 

 She carried her basket around all day and wouldn't let it out of her sight!

I don't get very many photos of Elizabeth nowadays (she hates taking them).

But I was able to get one of  her and Grandma together on the swing.

Too cute.

And here we are Easter morning, all dressed in our Sunday best before church.  

I don't get photos of me with the kids, basically EVER...and so I decided to utilize my timer, for once.

And P.S. -Have you ever tried this before, setting a camera timer, scrambling to get the kids to stay where you put them, to look forward, smile at basically, no one all while trying to look like you're not feeling frazzled.  Yeah.  That's a doozie and this was picture number 5.  

I didn't care after that.
