Dear Elizabeth,
What a beautiful thing it is to know you are my daughter. To know that Heaven gave me the chance to love you and spend this life with you. I think about when you came to us, we were so excited about your arrival and the person you would be. I think about that day in the hospital and am still so in Love with you. You have been such a light this year, you have grown in so many ways and I couldn't be prouder. And I don't want to forget all that you do and the little things that make you, You. So I write this to you....
I love to hear you sing your ABC's in'cessantly (especially at the top of your lungs at Target).
I love seeing you play with your brother and the way you make him laugh.
I love having you climb into bed with me in the morning and ask, "bird phone?"
I love that you ask for In-n-Out when we are out.
I love hearing you, "make-believe" with your toys.
I love to see your choice of outfits each day.
I love hearing your prayers at night.
I love your excitement over pancakes with Mickey ears.
I love when you come riding down the drive-way to meet Ben coming off the bus on your bike.
I love when you come riding down the drive-way to meet Ben coming off the bus on your bike.
I love that you are polite and say "scooze me".
I love when we go feed the ducks at the pond and how sweet you are to them.
I love when you blow kisses to me before I close your bedroom door at night.
I love how incredibly shy you are and the way you go "mute" when someone says hello.
I love how incredibly shy you are and the way you go "mute" when someone says hello.
I love when you point out things and say how "beat-i-ful" or "ah-mazing".
I love that you get so embarrassed when I dance.
I love when you ask me to dance in the car.
I love your little scowl, even when you drive me a little nuts.
I love your little scowl, even when you drive me a little nuts.
I love that you sing, even when you think I'm not looking.
I love when you get upset and you give the loudest "ugh!!!"
I love when you ask for hugs and kisses at the most random times during the day.
And...I love, that you are you.
You have grown so much this past year and I feel so honored to be a part of your life and spend these moments with you. The Lord knew what he was doing when He sent you to us.
Love you Forever...
Mommy
