The month of October was pretty hectic, lots of activities going on which I love, but absolutely wear myself out with. For starters, I threw a little Halloween party for Lizzie's friends. I love throwing parties and getting together with people! What's great is that there are so many activities for little kids that don't cost very much or are free off the internet (Oh, how I love the internet)...I really don't know what we did before it. Which is sad to say, I know.

Treats, treats, and more treats!!!
Lizzie and her friend, Teagan Tolman.
The boys.
Brayden, Josh, and Kyle.
Just before Halloween, we always carve the 'big' pumpkin.
Lizzie of course jumped right in, helping dad scoop out his 'guts'...
....in which Ben proceeded to eat. Haha!
My beautiful, happy girl!
And success!!
We did the typical trunk-or-treat at church, the kids really like that. Although, the best was Halloween night. We went trick-or-treating a few blocks up from us, and the kids had a blast!! Since there are so many kids out, the owners of these homes sit out on their porches and wait for the kids to come. It's a little nutty, but better than some I've heard (like kids standing in line for candy, yeah---not gonna happen). Ben did such a great job while we were going door-to-door. Every time they would drop a candy in, he'd look inside and put his bucket out again for them to fill it. And when we'd keep going, it was like he was in shock that he just had to put his hand out and they'd give him something. It was hilarious!!...but so cute, he did such a great job and didn't have any behavior issues while we were out. Score!
We hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!

Awe, I love their Halloween costumes! I also love the comb over do for Ben which really makes him look just like that character set back in those days. Too cute! I'm really sad we missed the Halloween party too. It looks like the kids all had a blast!
