Ben and Ellie

I realized that the last time they had a photo together, was at the hospital, right after I had Eli. And this one was even tricky to get, what with Ben not wanting to even touch Eli, and asking an almost 2 year old to sit for just a second, is even harder. Yet, he sat long enough for me to sing "Popcorn Popping" (which helped him to smile). 

  

Elizabeth is now 4 1/2 months and, I was able to take her in today for her 4 month well check. She's gained 3lbs since her last visit to the doctor, now weighing 15lbs 2oz. And grown to be 24.5in in length. It's amazing how big she's gotten in just a few short months, and I'm always worried she not eating enough?! She's sleeping through the night, trying to conquer the "roll over" and doing the baby talk...she's a girl alright! 

Ben is doing what he does best...being a boy. He likes to take everything out, scattering every inch of the house with not just his toys, but anything else he can get a hold of, shredding books to pieces, running into walls, or anything for that matter. If he doesn't have a bump or bruise on his head when you see him, just give him a day or a few hours, he'll take care of that! He's gibbering away as well, he can say a few choice words like: Mom (mama), something like "them", although we think it sounds like "dumb". He still loves being outside as well, or as often as I can with the baby. He starting to notice his little sister more and more, I think he's figured out that she's not going anywhere. I've found him trying to cover her with his blanket or plopping a toy down next to her, to play with. It's the sweetest thing!..and I know she loves him too, cuz she's all smiles when he comes around. He's going to be an awesome Big Brother! 

I love this picture! He was taking a nap and I had just checked in on him an hour before, then when I peeked in, he had moved to the rocking chair. Crazy kid...gotta love 'em!
