*Let it snow*Let it snow*Let it snow*

Amazingly enough, we had a storm blow in on Wednesday morning and dump a good 12inches of snow on the entire High Desert. I woke up at 6:30 a.m. with it lightly coming down...I had to make my way over to the dreaded DMV to register my car that morning, and barely made it home a couple hours later. As I headed back home, the snow was coming down heavily and because we live where it rarely snows, there were no road plows to clear the roads. I scared myself a few times sliding on the road, and it took me a good hour or so to get back to the house. I thought it might snow for a bit, but not the entire day!! We stayed inside all day, watching christmas movies, napping and drinking hot chocolate. Ahhh...it was nice. It reminded me of being in Utah. Although, I didn't have any snow clothes for Ben and Elizabeth, they stayed inside warm and cozy while my sister and my nieces and I, played in the snow. Our snowman was pretty sorry looking, only because we waited too long and the snow was pretty powdery. It was a gorgeous site to see and I just wish Phil could have been here to have enjoyed it with us.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

We decided to measure the snow...and this was earlier in the day. We reached 12 inches by the end of the day...wow!
