Disneyland and Elizabeth's birthday party!!!

We had Elizabeth's birthday at the park again this year. We have a great park just up the street from us, so we decided with the weather being so nice here in Redlands, we'd keep the party closer to home. The park has a really nice area for large parties, with a lot of grass to run around in and a large park for the little ones. Lots of family and friends came to celebrate her 2nd birthday and she received a lot of nice gifts, both summer clothes and toys. It was a great day, full of sunshine and smiles! Thanks to everyone who came and made this a special day for our little girl!!

We had the chance to take the kids to Disneyland the week of Elizabeth's birthday, and we had a blast! We had taken them to Knott's back in December and they did so well, we thought by Elizabeth's birthday they'd definitely be ready for Disneyland. And they were! We got lucky and were able to get in for free because Phil had a friend from work, who's sister worked in Downtown Disney. Thank goodness for hook-ups...or we'd have spent a few hundred dollars that day!

We were able to ride a majority of the rides, starting off first with the Mad Hatter's Tea Cups. The kids did really well, taking their naps in the stroller during the day...we had a few meltdowns, but was able to enjoy most of our day. They really loved Toon Town (for obvious reasons). Elizabeth really loved Mickey and Minnie's house, we were able to meet and take only one picture with a character (Minnie), which I was fine with...I'm sure when we come back next year we'll have to meet them all then! So skipping the loooong lines for a quick snapshot with the characters was a huge time saver!
