December, has been one busy month! There are parties to go to, gifts to be bought and cookies to be made. And, Elizabeth and I definitely kept busy while Ben has been in school these last few weeks. We even ventured to the local library. I haven't been to a library in forever! Sad, I know. But now Elizabeth loves going and picking out books and we take home a huge stack each time, it's great.
One of the many things that has kept us busy is the advent calendar I put together. Each day we do a different activity. I'm sure a lot of you have seen this, they are just every day things we do together as a family (mainly things you would do in December)..ie: attend the Ward Christmas Party, eat a candy cane, go and see the lights, watch a Christmas movie, drink hot cocoa, make a Christmas craft, etc. On one of the days, we opened a Christmas gift.

Yaaaay! And we love our books...mmmhmmm!
The rest of this month, like I said, we've kept busy.
Elizabeth has really taken to pretend and "make believe", and it's awesome to see just how creative she is.
