Walk for Autism Speaks Now 2009

This past Saturday we headed down to Aneheim for 'Walk for Autism Speaks Now', put on by Autism Speaks. Every year they have a walk to raise awareness and raise funds for research. We had only signed up for the week 2 weeks prior, so we didn't have enough time to raise a lot of money. Although I wish we had, it just wasn't going to happen. In any case, we had a blast! They had vendors set up with information on the disorder, schools, therapies and support groups, to name a few. They also had things for the kids to do like, bounce houses, jungle gyms and all sorts of activities. The walk took place inside Angel's Stadium, it was approximately 1 mile in distance, although you were able to walk as much as you wanted. The day was cool, so we weren't hot and bothered. We had a great time and can't wait until next year to do it again, it was a wonderful experience! =)

A couple of the vendors at the walk...Ben really enjoyed the bubbles, go figure!
