November & a Letter

November came and went by so quickly.  It seems that once October hits, the next few months are here faster than usual.  They just sneak up so quickly, I think we just want to savor and enjoy them longer.  At least I do.  The kids had a couple of parties at school, decorating fun posters with turkey's and making vegetable soup and pumpkin pie.  Elizabeth loved her turkey hat.  She wore it for 3 days straight!  It's amazing what a little paper and crayons can do for a kid.  

This month we also celebrated Ben's 6th birthday.  Mr B. woke up to streamers, a few handmade birthday wishes and his favorite breakfast, pancakes with powdered sugar.  I still can't believe how much he has grown!  In the picture below, I feel like he looks so much older! (And sorry for the shirtless little boy...he had just finished his pancake breakfast).   

His party won't be until this coming weekend.  But I still wanted to make his day special.
