a beautiful life.: Fun Photos and our Christmas card

I think one of the best things about taking photos of kids, is having ones that aren't staged or anything. These kiddos seem to be the best at the candid shots...it's a pretty good portion of what my pictures are made up of. It's hard to get them to sit or stand long enough for me to get a picture of them smiling...but when I do, it's worth it. These photos are from Ben's birthday, we were at home, off from school for Thanksgiving week. I hung some paper streamers and made my annual home-made sign, for the big day. Home made is better, right??

And for these photos, I was trying to get a few shots for the Christmas card I was making. I just wanted to get a few fun photos of the kids in the living room, just being themselves. They were good sports, and thankfully I can say, I think taking photos will get easier with age. Phew!!

But it was fun...and I got a few that I really liked.
