I can't believe this little girl turned six years old!! She was really excited to have all of her friends and cousins over for her birthday and this year we decided to stay at home and have one. Elizabeth loves animals and opted to have one to commemorate her day.
The party began just after her kindergarten class let out, so some of her friends from school could come. They snacked on goodies and treats, but were more entertained by each other.
Homemade cake and cupcakes are the way to go!
The games were simple and not over the top, because if you remember...five and six year old's aren't fancy. Some dollar store ducks, water, and a fishing pole kept them entertained for a while.
The next game they played was called something like, "How does a Giraffe eat?". I really don't know, but the kids loved it. We strung up fruit by the foot and they each had to eat like a giraffe (no hands) and the one who finished first won! It was hilarious and totally fun, the kids had a blast. The third game we played was the basic pin the tail, but they pinned the tail on the zebra. Which unfortunately, I can not find the photos for :(
They really enjoyed the animals on the table. Rooooaaarr!
It was such a great little party and the kids all seemed to have fun.
Happy birthday, Elizabeth!!
