It wouldn't be summer if you didn't start it off right, now would it?? This year we spent a few days camping at Carlsbad before school let out. The weather of course was beautiful and we enjoyed the time with my extended family, who was also there camping. We wish we could have spent more time there, but realized by the third day that camping with children is better kept short--so we counted ourselves lucky we didn't stay the whole week.
Lizzie finally got to fly her kite and spent plenty of time in the water with her cousins.
Don't bother him...he's on vacation.
